What is your idea of the perfect day?
I would love to wake up early for a big breakfast and then spend the rest of it with my wife hiking through the mountains or walking through a new town somewhere in the world. Someone would cook dinner for me since I never get a break from it.
What equipment do you use?
I use the latest Canon SLR cameras with an array of only 2.8 lenses from fish-eye, macro, and telephoto. I also have a portable studio for on-location shoots that require a little extra light.

Are you any good at Photoshop?
With my background in photojournalism, I was never allowed to use Photoshop (only cropping) so I always strive to get the image I want to give the client on film, not spend hours behind a computer and tweak a bad image until it looks like something in a magazine. But to answer the question, I can figure out almost anything.
The prints that you provide, do you print them yourself?
I do all my printing through professional photo lab in California – Bay Photo. They print on high quality photo paper the old fashioned way and will last a lifetime. The people in the lab view and correct each image for color and density for pleasing skin tones, they don’t just load a ton of images into a computer and walk away.
I have this really crazy idea for a family photo, can you do it?
Nothing that I have come across is too far fetched and I love when people get creative, but need someone to setup some lights and take the photo. Photos of families in khaki and white shirts is fine with me or get crazy and hang from a tree like a family of bats.
